@Swifty-Willownall The key requirement was specifically done for the very reasons you point out. The key has been edited to remind you it will be important later when you do find it. But there is more coming with this quest line eventually and it'll be a very nice reward for the people who pursue it.

@TheMinionOfArabel Tried to put in an update to bardsongs someone scripted up for us, but seems these are way too many bugs. Going to take out these changes, and maybe get to the code myself in spring.

Actually, the code had been removed, I've put it back in, so it does protect against it, and the save will be vs death, not just fort, but fort vs death (so +vs death items will be useful)

@Perdition I hopefully have this done now.

@Perdition Shouldn't spawn on this quest at all. I'll remove him, he's a sea snake....

Folks, if you've been enjoying CoA, please take some time to advertise the server. Talk to friends, post to social media, discord groups, if you know a friendly streamer who may be interested talk to them.

Our monthly player numbers have gone up since we started the new storyline and added our Underdark regions. So I think we've got some momentum to work with, but let's all help keep the community growing!

So far this year:

We added a new base class, the Spellblade. We've done updates to 24 quests and added 4 new quests. We added six brand new Underdark areas (3 of the new quests are down there). We've begun a new major storyline connected to the rise of the drow of House Vyra.

There's a lot more to come too.
