      Two bugs here, I think:

      1. There is no option for Resurrection, only Raise Dead. Unclear if bug or feature.

      2. Raise Dead does not work. The dialog is bugged, and provides placeholder variables. It them fails to take any gold, and no spell is cast:

      I guess probably irrelevant, but both PCs have Talona in deity field.

      Was thinking about this, and I think the real problem was just that we were caught off guard, and immediately put into “oh shit” mode.

      Maybe just add a big old pile of bones with a monster statue outside the door as an in character warning that it’s a murder room, and it probably doesn’t need to be changed.

      We did not use the doorway. I think we would have been fine if we did.

      I think the end spawn on this was made way too hard.

      It also would have been nice if there was a note that this had been updated.

      We tried running it tonight not knowing it had changed, and wiped hardcore.

      Once I noticed there were now guards and a buffed boss I managed to get shield/bark/speed/stoneskin going and still got torn to pieces, despite healing support. +16 ab on the guards, +18 on the boss, hitting into the 50s for damage on crits.

      Orin died just looking at them.

      We were:
      10 fighter
      9 rogue
      8 ranger

      I've done this quest a number of times with level 9s and below, and it's reasonable.

      We just did it with 10,9,9,9,orin and got maybe 10 elite orc undead warriors, which are pretty mental. It seems like the scaling could be looked at.

      I thought there was a thread already but I don’t see it, making this.

      I think it’s currently dropping a bit too much (prestige) loot, especially considering it’s pretty easy. It’s very common to get multiple drops of the same shield, armor, etc.

      Suggestion: remove one of the end chests to reduce overall amount, and remove the gnome themed loot (which is thematic but largely useless) so what you do get is worth the walk.

      Edit: I don’t mean to say the loot is bad, some is very nice. Just to remove some of the bad if the overall amount is reduced.

      I did Half-hap on a level 5 character and got what I think was 3-4X the usual mobs spawned on me, including at least three of the "Angered Druid" bosses.

      I did the other lowbies on the same character and same reset and did not notice any issue, so maybe a fluke.

      I don't necessarily disagree, but one thing that I think you're missing @Paramour is that you can use prestige to get potions. So quest loot, but lots of the other prestige items, are a big source of potions.

      For me, this is the primary way I get staple questing potions (bark, blur, shield) and stoneskin.

      Admittedly, if you are saving prestige for loot, this is harder.

      I have no trouble saving 10k+, but I am a ranger with mostly free buffs, a wage, and I'm not using prestige for other loot.

      I do agree it would be nice for cool loner concepts to get support, I guess this is where DM intervention comes in? I don't have a great idea for some auto-wage system for the factionless. Maybe wages for the Autonomous Collective of Evil? Idk. Evil has its perks.

      I don't really care that its Puffy - I think she's doing all the things we would tell any player to do for O.C., and this is something people app for on creation.

      That said, I expect people probably know its her, and it might be smart to wait a bit to avoid people getting upset about percieved special treatment for DM PCs, as it would be quite fast
