    • RE: A few disturbed ritual sites...

Another day passes in the shit-covered city that is Arabel.

As the rats leave even more leavings upon the cobblestones, it is noted that at least one Crown Guard seems to be going about picking up bags placed in front of the noble estates, skimming it out of the decorative fountains, and meticulously cleaning up the Historic and elsewhere.

They seem to be putting all that shit into prepared bags and appear heavily magically warded.

One wonders whether they pulled some literal 'shit duty', or there might be something more to this than civic pride.

    • A peculiar battle ensues...

During the 'day of lawlessness', a member of the Crown Guard seems to have interrupted the were-rats in the middle of painting even more shit-stained messages, this time on the stage of the Historic District.

Those who witnessed report a strange sight indeed - the Crown Guard and a pair of giant scorpions trying, unsuccessfully, to slay a particularly fat rat dragging itself towards the southern gate. For what seemed like half a minute, onlookers were boggled as the small rat drank potion after potion, even rooted to the ground and in the middle of being clawed apart.

Another were-rat appeared and tackled the Crown Guard to the ground, and the two were-rats made off with the scorpions in hot pursuit.

      Is the Crown Guard incompetent?

      Are the rats that terrifying?

Where was the rat keeping the potions?

A peculiar sight, on a 'Lawless' day...

    • A few disturbed ritual sites...

While some travelers might have just walked past the rattish ritual sites near Ankhspear and Immersea, it looks like some conscientious person is dismantling them and collecting every bit of evidence they can...

But for what purpose, one wonders?

    • Extend duration of the Identify spell

      We've all been there.

There's all the loot lain out on the ground.

Your brow breaks out in a cold sweat. Your hands are clammy. Mom's spaghetti.

You click the button on your hotbar and try as quickly as possible to click on every unidentified thing on the ground or in your inventory as fast as possible. You must be precise, you must be quick, you must be-

And there it goes. Identify has worn off, and over half the stuff on the ground is unidentified? You sigh, flex your fingers, and quaff another identify potion.

Alternatively - wouldn't it be nice if the identify spell lasted for more than two seconds?

    • A Pause in the Storm...

One evening, the perpetual rain clears over the Collinswood, revealing a night sky of purest beauty. Without the lights of Eveningstar polluting them, the stars shine like diamond dust over midnight brocade.

Some people say they heard an eagle cry and saw a single bird flying across the stars. Some say they saw a group of savages carrying corpses between them - others wondered if the Purple Dragon Knights had started to invade. Some say that the spirit that resided within that druidic graveyard had finally given up, and others speak of shadows dancing in the twilight, the sort of shadows that sap the strength from a man's soul.

When the dawn finally breaks, gold and purple fingers reaching out to light the world in glory, the rain returns to the Collinwood, though what that might mean and who or what might have, for that briefest of unscarred evenings, seen fit to part the sky itself remains a mystery.

    • Adventurers in the Crownguard

Four heavily armed and armored adventurers were seen to walk into the Crownguard barracks early in the afternoon, setting out from the Faceless tavern after a rowdy discussion, ready to do battle.

Although it's inexact, most of the subsequent rumors agree that they either threatened the Crownguard, cut some deal with them to get a fine reduced, or some say, forgiven entirely.

In the past, criminals have avoided the law by leaving the city, going to Tilverton, or seeking asylum in Eveningstar - but now it seems they feel comfortable walking the streets of Arabel, confident that force of arms is the only applicable law.

    • RE: Give crafters the ability to set name/description of crafted items

Rules regarding the new ability to change item name/descriptions:

      1. Item must contain the material in the name. (Example: Iron Sword of Spice, Frederick's Copper Blade). This is so that DMs can glance over the item name without having to go into the description to see what it does every time.
      2. Items cannot be made with colored names. Only plot items henceforth will have colored names. You are not allowed to rename plot items.
      3. Descriptions must be kept to less than three paragraphs.
      4. Descriptions of items must not contradict their actual appearances or use.
      5. You are not allowed to rename items to read as faction gear.

Now that it's pointed out, can confirm. I thought this was just me using it improperly.

    • RE: Walk

I feel like that's not addressing the issue.

Yes. We can shift click. I shift click.

But it is an annoyance and would it really be so hard to fix?
