When he was originally concepting his character, I suggested he could work towards palemaster.
He only became interested in earning it recently. He's done a lot of necromantic stuff in secret (leaving experiments around and building entire undead encounters)

But I feel he needs to build a more public reputation as a necromancer/grafter if he wants to earn this one.

People should know who to go to for undead stuff if there's a palemaster around.
Or who to go to in order to get someone killed if there's an assassin around.

No sense in having the leading expert in something if no one knows he exists.

Got to rp with her in game via Evander, gave her more tangible responsibilities and goals.

She's been instructed to come up with some tasks to promote other adventurers into action, and use the deposit box's gold to motivate people to get it done.

But since she got a recommendation from every faction member, I added her in.

Either way, I don't want to punish someone for having a life outside of coa.

Will just wait for her to find the time to play, and resume with the challenge from the guildmaster to do some stuff in order to get accepted, rather than vote no.

I haven't able to catch Lirien in game since. Most of the players in the faction haven't either.

Sent the player a pm on discord to see if they're still around. Not sure if she just plays during Early morning timezones or something.

Voted yes since he's not really apping for anything other than a green light to play an elf that's basically lived under a rock.

Not seen forte play anything, so I don't know if he'll make good on an app.

Forte wants to play an elf wizard with a semi special background. Doesn't seem like something that needs an app but I can see why he'd app anyways.

An elf wizard from a settlement on the Tears of Selune isolated prior to the start of the Age of Humanity that gets stuck on Arabel through a portal mishap.

Doesn't know what a human is and assumes they're elves who lost the blessing of the Seldarine and forgot how to be elves, doesn't know/understand the history of the drow either.

Her main goal is to go back home, with the sub goal of helping humans regain their elven heritage by taking them in as disciples.

What's enabled for plots:

• Shenanigans with the drow. A surface elf that isn't trying to kill them and doesn't have any idea what a drow is as the Tears disappearance happened before Lolth's betrayal and Wendonai's corruption.

• Trying to make humans turn into elves through elven high magic, or by teaching them how to do things (the elven way)

• Looking for arcane phenomenon and instabilities near/around Arabel to mess with them and try to turn them into portals to other tears. (just gonna throw wizardry at the wall and hope no one dies horribly).

When Purple_Diamond goes to the faction next and asks. Can just have the npc ask them what they're hoping to accomplish, and maybe give them a bit of homework prior to joining. Should be good.

PD already has a few things she wants to do listed up.

Could maybe have Evander give her a trial to tempt her, disguised as a test to see if she's gilded venture material. Just to see if she'll do something cool with a tricky situation. Since that's what we're looking to see if she'll do?

I think she's typically had about 2 hours of playtime a week up until just recently, so I didn't really expect to see her doing much in the justiciars either. Similar to Orin in that regard.

She seems to have her mind in the right direction though.

As a divine investigator, pursuing lingering mysteries tied to faith, or corruption. And as a spiritual presence, embodying Tymora's joy, courage, and defiance of fear within a bold organization.

Long term, she hopes to become a recognized spiritual authority within the Tymoran church. Not with rivalry or politics (though we know that's unavoidable), but with earned wisdom, conviction, and steady service.
