Rank 1 is non app and its only purpose is to give people a way to more easily earn an IC recommendation. That IC recommendation then makes for an easier app.

Want straight into the faction, write a proper app with goals and give it to a DM. At rank 1 and feel the wait is too long, write an app and send it to the DMs.

Not able to hook up with a PC for whatever reason contact a DM. Have questions about the factions that a PC can’t or is not around to answer contact a DM.

The primary motivation for the DMs to put the non app positions in for those who don’t want to write an app on creation or want help writing apps with an existing character.

Again I cannot emphasize enough that rank 1 is supposed to be a very brief stay. Up or out.

And, maybe, bards can get a minor treatment in a similar direction? Let's say two spells of the first circle and one spells of the second circle at level 10. Will not do much since, but will help to keep up with the buff distribution a bit, giving a bit of utility in the long run. After all, principles of their spellcasting is similar to the sorcerers.

Oh I know. Lol. Once we got to the temple I was like "Yeah this could be some crazy Shar stuff right here" so it accomplishes its goal of kicking in the imagination. Either way. Just an idea. It could be left as is and I'll still run the quest.

script just needs to be updated to give the right bedroll. And the low weight bedroll probably needs to be added to the Palette.

I would recommend this for now as each time it's one roll. though you can buff your respective stats (if cheap) to increase your % chance of success

As far as story is concerned,

I'd like to see more Cormyrean meddling in our affairs. its pretty clear that neither side, Revolution or Cormyr, can stomach another war, but that wouldn't stop foreign powers from trying to mess with our city.

It doesn't specifically need to be Cormyr, but other interested bodies, I think, would try to take advantage of our youthful State.

I would like to see a story where another power (probably not Cormyr) tries to gain influence in the city and has us all question if standing alone is still the best course of action.
