I think the boss not spawning was that you missed the trigger. Redrew it in a "have to cross it" manner. v7318

Ran the optional again last night. We had the bugged diary entry and didn't resolve on quitting without killing the boss.

Okay. bit more testing. still not sure how it happens but as a heads up- You CANNOT simply undo the freeze by disabling parry or moving. You have to disable parry, attack them to reset your combat shenanigans, THEN you can use your items. Just disabling parry or moving you'll still be locked from using any activatable items such as healing wands until you smack again.

Tested IG today. Seems to be fixed.

I just tested it IG with both bazaar merchants and it worked on a successful roll.

I'm just saying it worked when I tested it today. I was unable to duplicate the bug that HellzYeah reported.

What chest/container you got it in
time and date that you got it
server version number

The more information you can provide, the better.
