      These mobs regularly spot me and come to jump me from outside my own perception range, which I thought was odd and might be worth looking into.

          They are charging me from outside my own perception range, so something is wonky.

          Are you sure you didn't check Elder Eyes? They're different mobs, but the Eyes have blindsight as well and seem to have normal perception ranges. It's just the Orbs that seem to have omniscience.
