Boarders are re-drawn, stonemasons and carpenters are seen making progress on the Blisterfoot Inn and Calantar’s Bridge
Foreign nobility, people claiming to be members of the army, and assorted dignitaries are seen arriving via caravan
Some smile and pass through check-points un-challenged, others are seen being hauled away into makeshift offices for questioning, a few slip past with the flash of a few coins…
The Palace has seen increased activity over the last few days, with nobility from outside the city coming and going for various meetings.
Some are seen leaving looking furious, others content, a few bemused..
Word following their conclusion is that Lord Protector DeSchurr is preparing an announcement to the city..

If you want to bring back a PC from an absence of over 6 months just grab any DM first so we can check for any loot, or previous affiliations, which might be unbalancing or make no sense to the current setting.

Large trees were also cut down and dragged into the mountains, it's assumed for the construction of machines of war before reinforcements arrived form the City
Fierce fighting was then witnessed, with members of the Justiciars and House Delzuld battling a towering, monstrous creature wrought in blue flame and terrible magic
Men and women from smaller settlements outside the city are seen now packing up and leaving, hoping to find shelter behind high walls, tall shields and sharp swords.
News of a possible deal struck between the Queen and Cormyr offers some raised hope, however silence relating to any detail or concrete news keeps people very much on edge.

Following the changing landscape around Deadwell there have been more movements around the Blisterfoot Inn.
Men are seen reviewing the ruined structure of the inn itself, with temporary barricades being installed and removed
The removal overnight of orcan shaman Glass Eye, a creature wanted by the City for many crimes, struck a blow to the forces of the Azure Flame
There was a mixture of hope, that this blow will be decisive, and trepidation that a violent retaliation will be forthcoming
Those present watched on with amazement and some disgust as five live orcs were apparently tortured and killed by a band of four War Wizards from Suzail
