Guardians still stealing ores

Does this happen to anyone else?
When mining, are you collecting ore normally until it spawns?
Have you tried with the chisel instead of the pickaxe?

I have mined since the guardians are in and they've always drop something. I use the chisel.
How do you mine, do you bash the vein or do you just click on it?

Tin guardians work as intended 2 out of 2 guardians dropped 6 pieces of tin each.

1 out of 2 Copper guardian did NOT drop copper ore.
2 of 2 did drop copper ore

The silver guardian spawned, but instead of Ores as its loot, it had a potion of polarity

Im also using Power Attack when hitting the node with the miner's pickaxe if that makes any difference

try without power attack maybe?
So far, with the gem chisel, all spawned guardian dropped their loot. Maybe its the bashing on the notes the problem? Not sure what else could be. Will keep testing with chisel, see if it ever gives me an empty guardian.

I spawned 2 copper and one iron guardian today using a pickaxe with power attack. 1 copper and the iron one both didn't drop ore when they died.

@Cojak81 did you get a second power attack hit on the node after the whole guardian spawning effects started?

@Strife-and-Discord no idea. Also today I spawned two tin guardians without using power attack on the node and neither of them dropped any ore. They both appeared before I managed to harvest any tin from the node.

Next time this happens please:

1. Stop in your tracks
2. Take a screenshot of the area with the map open so we can see exactly where it is
3. Post it here along with the following info:
   • What Node/Guardian was it
   • Area name

The difference between miner's pickaxe and gem chisel is that the pickaxe bashes the node while the chisel does not.
You think it might be related?

@TheMinionOfArabel Quite possible, this used to be a problem with the ancient system, where the ore node got destroyed so no ore managed to spawn from the script.

Happened twice to me today on Iron ore. Guardians spawned before I collected anything. Can you just remove them for now? It is seriously frustrating now given the limited places I can mine it safely solo and to lose both notes with nothing to show for it.

Missing the area name from the report. Were you using the pickaxe or the chisel? Did you use power attack?

Hillmarch mine, Iron Golem, considering my Longsword also cuts right through any and all Subdual damage and kills the subdued stuff anyway...

Sword is also DM named and the tailoring model still refers to it as silver sword. Maybe something conflicting or something?

@Zolm what tool did you use to mine? Dont care about what tool you used to fight the Guardian.

Deployed a possible fix.
Let me know if the issue persists. But this is solely an issue with Pickaxe. Chisels are not affected.

Merged the hotfix I deployed 2 weeks ago into master module, seeing as we have no more complaints.
