There used to be 6 different blood stain placeables that the script spawned. All of them were removed, so this is why it doesnt stick around. I suspect someone removed them.
@Echo as you still have the V5 module can you fetch:
bloodstain001-bloodstain006 and add them back to our module? This would fix it. -

Relates to the .37 loop issue. Worked with our temporary fix but stopped working once that fix was removed. Will need to wait till its fixed.

Currently only Knowledge History identifies stuff.
Once we get around to it - We will have it so certain items would require different knowledge skills.This is done in order to break down the Lore skill monolith and unlikely to be going away.
