When people say cost, gp cost or xp cost? One more than the other? Obviously people will want both but the DMs will want to retain some semblance of fear and consequence in death. So in a world where either gp cost or xp loss could be lowered, which would people punt for?

This is just to understand the appetite from the player base, I want to go into any discussion eyes open.

        Thanks.

Gold cost is more important imo.

Hardly anyone is walking around with over 10 thousand on them and a ressurection is 10.6k atm.

I'd say raise dead should be about 3000 down from 5300 atm with resurrection being around 7000.

A diamond for raise dead by a PC cleric could be around 2000 so it's best to go to a PC if you can but you aren't screwed if there are no PC clerics

@v-rage said in Revert the cost of raises etc:

            5300 atm

it's 5000 with a variation for alignment/deity differences depending on who raises you

I think I would prefer the xp decrease. But then I am a disciple of Orin so either way its still gonna cost me for the amount I visit the fugue!

Less EXP loss, the thing we wanted in the first place when the suggestion came down from Verk to make player clerics more wanted because he was playing one/

@strife-and-discord it's not a full reverse, but a lowering of the price for both raise and resurrection
