Have a look at the above first. Some wands are able to do higher caster levels. Should not be any bug but will leave here for now.

It's not so much as a bug persay, but more of an observation I made. I went through and checked out the wand costs for wands, setting them at CL 10. I noticed that a few changes were made from about a week ago to now which is why I brought it up. It's possible there is an unknown element that's altering the crafting prices that I am unaware of.

I am unaware if the changes were intentional or not, I guess is the crux of this post.

Refresh my memory? What changes were made a few weeks ago?

@swifty-willownall AFAIK these changes have existed for a while. At least since I started playing recently, but I think well before that even.

That's the thing. There's no documentation so it's weird. So far the only two changes I've found was.

Dispel can now max out at CL 10 instead of 5 when crafting wands.
The price for NEP has gone up a bit.

I haven't really had time to go through the rest of the spells, but I double checked the animals buffs, GWM, and Stoneskin and they still seem the same.

Swifty you see the whole thing on the imbuing system? It states that stuff can vary haha. Price for NEP i don't know about its price increasing, but it could have been from a bad appraise roll or something. IIRC that does change it.

I did see that though I must have misunderstood it. The price can vary each time you go to craft, even using the same level? That's wild. Also, Kinda ew? Why would crafting a CL 10 wand cost one thing then cost another the next day. I can't see this being a good feature at all. =(

I can see the appraise representing the price variance of needed materials for the wand enchantment, and if you are skilled, lucky and charismatic, you get deals that make those materials cheaper.

Not a bug. System is working as intended. I verified some of the pricing IG.

@sharkinajar Appraise is only used when talking to NPC merchants, the thread is talking about crafting....
