Many aided the Wildwalkers yesterday in regaining grounds in the Helmlands. A war camp is now established, which will upon the wars completion be Ursula's grove. The losses were many, in supplies and strength. A new dawn is approaching the Helmlands, and I am proud to see the House of the Morning and so many others aiding the Wildwalkers with the cleansing of the once forsaken land.

By order of her Majesty the Queen the Council of Twelve Peers is recognized and stands for the people against the most dire threats to the realm The continued and growing threat to the safety and security of the Kingdom demand that the council take steps to: Defeat Tilverton in the on going war Minimal civilian causalities Recover nobility loyal to the crown Bring Duke Obyn Misrim to justice The act of murder, through the abhorrent practice of human sacrifice Engaging in infernal activities, masquerading under the guise of the Church of Siamorphe and his self-proclaimed Black Chalice Practicing necromancy, unlawfully reanimating his subjects for undisclosed purposes. Committing acts of sedition by engaging in clandestine treaties with Sembia and neighboring nations along our borders Bring Father Isaacson to justice The act of murder, through the abhorrent practice of human sacrifice Engaging in infernal activities, masquerading under the guise of the Church of Siamorphe and Duke Obyn's self-proclaimed Black Chalice Practicing necromancy, unlawfully reanimating his subjects for undisclosed purposes

For the Annals of History: The Downfall of Morvin the Unworthy

As twilight settled, we congregated upon Griffin Hill. Our forces had persistently employed ballistae and catapults to hold back the relentless onslaught from Tilverton. Our scrying revealed an eerie emptiness within the city's streets; only the loathsome undead stalked its alleys. The walls that had been our barrier were dismantled by the sorcery of Adrian Iverlesk, who unleashed his legendary storm to crumble the once-impregnable fortifications.

Beneath the rising moon, a band of intrepid adventurers led by the newly-knighted Sir Mordecai Cormaeril mounted a daring charge upon the city, gaining access to the expansive catacombs via the temple of Cyric. Upon entering the catacombs, our mission was clear - we had to reach each point of the pentagram-like structure deep within. Throughout the journey, we contended with countless acolytes of the Black Chalice, hordes of undead, and various other malevolent adversaries.

Our initial encounter took place in a vast library occupied by undead scribes, diligently recording the dead according to the ways of Jergal. We elected to let them continue their task, not out of acceptance but due to the pressing urgency of our quest. These undead, we knew, would serve their purpose and then pass into the afterlife. We continued our relentless descent into the crypt, battling warlocks and other foul entities. Chaos reigned despite Sir Mordecai's gallant leadership; the further we ventured, the fiercer the skirmishes became.

Deeper into the crypt, we discovered a necromancer's library, its walls adorned with gruesome displays of horror - books bound in humanoid flesh and a peculiar, malevolent tome emanating dark energy. Though the bloated necromancer attempted negotiation, we offered no quarter. An intense battle ensued, during which many of our comrades fell to the potent undead and arcane spells conjured by the necromancer. As the conflict reached its climax, I hurled a healing wand towards the corpulent spellcaster, causing him to collapse in defeat. With the key we retrieved from his lifeless body, we pressed onward.

The key granted us entry to a massive summoning chamber dedicated to Isacsson. Within, innocent commoners were placed at each point of a sprawling pentagram. Before we could intervene, Isacsson completed his sinister ritual, and Morvin materialized within our realm. A towering colossus, towering five times the height of a man, Morvin engaged in a vicious duel with Sir Mordecai. As they clashed, our attention turned towards Isacsson, who displayed unholy protections. We soon deduced that these defenses were linked to the pentagram structure of the catacombs. Leaving Sir Mordecai to his epic confrontation, we sought to neutralize the protections. Amidst the chaos of battle, our party fragmented, and I found myself alone in the catacombs.

I confronted a champion of the Black Chalice and, with the assistance of one of the Twin Sisters of Malar, overcame him in single combat. Nevertheless, we were soon overwhelmed, prompting me to flee with all my might in search of our companions. Upon reuniting, we continued our relentless advance as a united force. One by one, we dismantled the magical pillars, each one a conduit that had empowered Morvin and Isacsson. Yet with each pillar felled, our own numbers dwindled in the face of our formidable adversaries.

With the last pillar obliterated, we hurried back to the summoning chamber to find Sir Mordecai still locked in combat with the monstrous fiend or deity known as Morvin. Realizing his vulnerability, Isacsson sought escape, but we pursued him relentlessly, and he met his demise at the blade's edge. Afterward, the remaining adventurers rallied around Sir Mordecai, and together, after an intense struggle, they finally vanquished Morvin.

Meanwhile, on the surface, the Skull mercenaries betrayed King Matrim, as we had forewarned. The ghosts and elite forces of the King battled Lord Obyn and his mercenaries. Obyn dealt a lethal poisoned blow to the King, who retaliated by impaling Obyn upon his sword. Lying in his own pool of blood, King Matrim faced Sir Myrkyr and the Heirophant. According to Dame Saga's account, Sir Myrkyr slew the King, and the druid and knight then disappeared into the forests before Arabel's advancing forces could reach the King's side.

Morvin and Isacsson lie defeated, their cult of the Black Chalice dispersed to the winds. Both Duke Obyn and King Matrim have met their end. Tilverton stands in ruins, ravaged by the commoners of Arabel. Adrian Iverlesk, Rosa Gallica, Retainer Vandern, Najeem, and the gnome of the Transcendence paid the ultimate price for our hard-won victory. And Sir Myrkyr and the Heirophant may soon become the most hunted men in Arabel.

He was offered the chance to bring information to you willingly, and put aside his pride. If he acts out of turn again, I imagine you should have the necessary tools to keep him in check. If not, I will be happy to do so.

@O-louth marching a sizable force through the Stormhorns is unfeasible unless you're willing to divulge druidic secrets.

    Thank you Dame,
No doubt there is something foul afoot beneath the city. We should prepare for the worst.

    And fight they shall.

I am done with trying to make them see there are still suspicious circumstances.

If they still wish to hide things to seemingly protect another who is just letting them die that is on them. I cannot make them accept help they clearly do not want.

That being said my previous advice on how to move forward stands. It does the realm no good for two nobles of the realm to be bickering with each when there is a war to win.

You speak now, and seemingly as ever, about things you have no real knowledge of.

Maybe you might follow orders for a time and learn how the nobles of this world truly act?

Do not bother to reply for it is clear you still chase this bone for your collection.

Yes, such is a sound theory which will likely prove better than just aiming for a guard post if we do go with smaller castings.
