Access to 4th circle spells as bard 8
-
On the wiki under bard class it indicates that bard get access to 4th circle spells at level 8. However, upon reaching level 8 I was only given the option to pick another 3rd circle spell and do not have a 4th circle spell.

@Ethika You don't have them at 8th, the wiki is wrong. Where in the wiki does it say that?

Following up on this, please use the forums as main source of truth. We don't own the wiki, so we don't fully control it. The forums page is always going to be updated, the wiki is not ours.

You can see it here under bard: https://coa.fandom.com/wiki/Class_Changes
I wasn’t aware that the wiki isn’t up to date and unfortunately built my char around the impression that it was.
I would personally recommend using a public discord channel to post all changes to the module on there and then ask community volunteers to update the wiki accordingly(happy to also help.)
While it can be cumbersome to manage both websites, a wiki is generally more user friendly.
I understand you down “own” this wiki but it shouldn’t be difficult to host it on another wiki provider I imagine if that is a big concern.
Also it would be good in any case to have a central repository for all updates IE the proposed discord channel. It’s become common practice in a lot of servers these days.

@Ethika I don't disagree at all and fully understand. But we don't own that wiki, we can't delete pages, we don't control what gets put on it. I do think its easier to navigate than the forums, but any wiki (even one we did own) would still require players to help keep it up to date.
Sadly, without more volunteer support, yes, we can't really manage stuff like that. We can barely find time to maintain the forums up-to-date and still have time to run events in the game.
If someone wanted to help migrate or get ownership of the wiki - that's fantastic, but can we also get enough help to keep it maintained?

Demonstrably, no.
