Would be great to reduce the minimum amount of people needed for these 7-10's from 3 PCs down to 2, for times when less people are online

Wrath of a Hateful Child (7-10)
      Party Size: 3-10
Quest Giver: Hateful Spectre of a Child, located in Redwood, Backwoods

      The Frozen War (7-10)
      Party Size: 3-8
Quest Giver: The Frozen War located in Storm Horns: Kingdom of Ice

      Immersea Lizardfolk (7-10)
      Party Size: 3-8
Quest Giver: Sir Percival of the Sapphire Crusading Order

Can cause poor scaling though, making the quests, well, less hard

@zool Doesn't loot from chests spawn based on rolls impacted on number of players in your party for the quest? So the payout should also be lower and therefore fine with it being easier?

@gdardog As I understand it, the loot chests spawn on an RNG, not based on party size.

@echo I thought that having an extra PC in your party increased your chances to have more items drop based on old discussions with @Zool sometime last year.

I could be wrong. It's happened once or twice before :)

The number of items that spawn from a loot chest is influenced by number in party yes.

Max of five, after.... 3 party members, the likelihood of it being more items goes up for each additional party member.

Still a chance of five when soloing though, just a low chance.

The chests themselves spawn based on a flat percentage set by the DM making the quests. Most are set to 100

It's not a big enough impact though, compared to the impact of monster scaling.

Also, with too few, you can end up with mostly just one mob type over and over depending on how the encounters are set up.

(Which is why when you solo some quests, you end up with nearly all one type of monster, when you are a certain level)
