Brief Background ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kalypso is the daughter of a minor noble family from Sembia though she was never interested in merchantile, instead passing her time in an idle and wasteful manner as her parents resources allowed her to do so. Drinking, expensive dresses, attending music lessons and indulging in all sorts of vices. A socialite through and through.
She was set to marry into a rich family that turned out to be vampires, she found out the first night she shared a bed and tried to bail fearing for her very life but this experience changed her forever.
Kalypso arrives at Arabel, dealing with all kinds of personal issues. No gold, no comforts, and an insatiable desire to drink blood, that she feels she needs to keep hidden. More than anything she wants to recreate the spoiled and comfortable lifestyle she enjoyed before this all went down.
It becomes clear this isn't going to be possible in Arabel. Nobles are reviled, as are their lifestyles. She could work really hard at being an adventurer and raise coin yourself but that's probably not something that motivates you.
Presumed dead and buried, the only thing identifying her from the past is a damaged crest she keeps hidden away in her belongings as a reminence.

Apperance / Quirks ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kalypso is thin and willowy, with pale skin and slightly pointed ears, slightly pronounced canines and blood-red eyes and long jet black hair. She is of medium stature and usually stylish and well dressed.
Her Dhampyr craving is blood. This craving for blood is amplified the more hungry for food she feels to the point that going several days without food will send her to a frenzy and turn her to an almost mindless animal wanting nothing else than blood to calm down even though food would fill her stomach all the same.

Aims ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. She wants to recreate the spoiled and comfortable lifestyle she enjoyed before this all went down. Either try to rise to prominence through service to a House or some group that can give her access to gold and power. Even gold can get a noble claim.
2. Methodically collect and study potent blood ( sorcerers, potent creatures such as celestials, demon etc ) in an effort to empower herself with more powers which could get her at odds with the Precept.

And one day i can finally say.

Since Fullcup retired due to RL, and Pierre fucked up his chance on the Council. I am thinking Kalypso gets to shine since she is the only other member of the ravens, any objections?

Yeah, its just that Verk is trying to get the seat. But I think he has burned his chance

Rank 3 for Black Chalice knight would be like rank 3 in the Aster, not Official Clergy.

I’m for giving Pierre another chance. He apologized and has done a lot. Let’s see what he does with it. He due for a few wins. Kalypso ICly makes more sense though. So maybe she gets the seat and Pierre finally can get promoted to be part of the Black Chalice as a knight or something?

We can continue that convo on the Pierre thread though.

The chalice is an officially recognized faith in Tilverton, not just an order of knights. we would need a priest variant of the Black Chalice, although that’s another discussion. I agree what he’s going for is more in line with a knighthood

I know. Hence my recent pc application. It needs to be more fleshed out but I thought it fun to do ICly instead of by DM fiat. Pierre wants to be a knight, like Sir Nicholas was. The Black Chalice to me is opposite of the House of the Morning so I'd like to make it have a similar set up. Will do the same -if- the Seekers get enough kudos to have a Mystra church. A Clergy type and a non clergy type. Puffy and I already implemented that at a basic level in Tymora as well.
