Respawned Freely After Reset?

After dying spectacularly at the redwood quest, I logged out in the fugue. After the reset I logged back in and spawned at the tavern with no xp loss. The fugue robe is in my inventory however.

Odd, because I logged back after reset and was still in fugue correctly.

This happened to me one time about two or three weeks ago, don't remember exactly when though.

Happened today. Logged out in fugue after the Frozen War earlier today, logged back in (Puffy 6520) and Grell spawned in the Faceless Inn. Fugue robe still in pack.
