      Thayan Group Concept:

Xamvul is a devotee of the Fractured Coin Heresy, which holds that Waukeen did not vanish during the Silence, rather, she foresaw it and liquidated her divinity into tradable assets known as Shares of Grace.

These Shares are bought and sold within an invite-only exchange called the Godsmarket. Admission to the Godsmarket, the heresy teaches, is earned through exceptional acts performed in service to Waukeen’s dogma.

Therefore, Xamvuls principal goals are twofold. One, earn Waukeens favour and entry into the Godsmarket and two, arrive there with as much gold as possible to make some moves. True or not, it establishes the character's north star.

As I am pursuing the Palemaster PrC with this character, I want to meld entrepreneurialism and necromancy. Introducing, the Bonebank. An effort to establish a licensed and legitimate marketplace where you can store, trade, and monetise undeath and more broadly necromancy… With all the trials and pitfalls that will come with that.

      Characters:

Xamvul -, an obese, gluttonous, sweaty Red Wizard played by Knocknock.

Threx - born into generational debt, has spent his life in service to Xamvul, first as a slave, then as a fighter. Thayan Knight played by Soothsayer.

      Side goals:

The Black Index, a subsection of the Bloodbank, a library of taboo and restricted literature Xamvul wants to curate, collect and control.

Threx seeks sanctioned bloodsport. Longing for the gladiatorial battles of Thay, Threx aims to establish a combat circuit under Xamvul’s patronage. But with a Thayan twist. Exotic animals, twists of fate, bribed advantages etc.

Support wise, there is an NPC Lord Magus I've been using which is tied to the Twisted Rune / Stonelands.

I've not told them about that plot to keep it a secret.

I've told them how long the NPC support stays around depends on how well they do, likewise if they want to establish an enclave that's on the table - if they do well and involve others.

Regards to what they get when they arrive I'd suggest some "official" robes (happy for suggestions on what to include with them) and armor for Soothsayer.

Will probably hand them a "loan" to get started, for them to pay back, as we did with the V3 Thayans.

I like it voted yes. Sooth might be interested in the spell blade base class, could fit well as a thayan knight.

In our original proposal of the thayan enclave, we gave an idea of players collecting gold as a chance to rank up. Could we set a target for them gold wise as a way to earn something substantial?

@ShadowRealm Yes, just because this heresy is amazing.

In the future, there are two simple rules to remember:

              NO SPITTING.

              DO NOT CROSS MISTER MOLOCH.

They are going to struggle with this bone market, but yeah, seems alright, it's a cool idea.

@Mr-Moloch It's a play on the Harlot's Coin Heresy if you didn't know about it already!
