Mountain Orc Mobs are a bit too strong

I think the mountain orc mobs are a bit too strong. The biggest culprit being the halberd wielding Mountain Orc Scrimshawer who has a +14/+9 attack bonus and an aura of fear. I'm 99% sure a DM spawned a single one of these randomly one me(They despawned it once I failed the fear save after several rounds of fighting it. Failing a single fear save is basically death for a melee PC). My level 8 pure fighter with platinum armor, a silver greatsword, barkskin, shield potion, and blur potion, still lost to it. And this was just a SINGLE orc that I'm pretty sure was using it's default stats.

These guys spawn in groups of like, 8 orcs+tigers in the stormhorn mountains and are by far one of the deadliest random encounters. I think they need to be weakened just a small bit. I fear running into them more so than any Frost Giant, Ettin, or Cyclops encounter.

To be fair all the ic information on them, is there very very bad news, and not something you charge solo.

There's no 8 orc encounter in the cares, could it had been two groups spawning at the same time?

Fixed, found a lower lvl group spawning twice rather than once, groups spawns in 3s, 4s, 5s excluding pets

There are some very large groups of Mountain Orcs spawning in the Stormhorns. Eight sounds about right. They were chewing through 4th and 5th circle summons faster than the groups of Frost Giants we encountered could.

Cadiz and I got bored and invis'd home in the end after the third or fourth group on the same stretch of the Jagged Cliffs.

Spawns in general seems to be a bit over the top in Stormhorns areas now. But the Mountain Orc groups are definitely ott.

If it's just smaller groups double spawning then that's a good fix. Honestly Strife would be able to tell you more with his data. The encounter the other day where I died had quite a bit of orcs in it, though I can't recall the exact number of them. I know it's the one that spawns with tigers.
