Bowser, gDarDog, Ethika, Ruler/TBD/Group app. for Purple Dragons

What specific perk(s) (faction, special background, etc)
- Starting Level 6
- Purple Dragon Standard Gear (Lionar, 2 Battlemages, Royal Scout)
- Basic starting potions (10 Cure moderate, anything else to the discretion of the DMs)
  350 GP each.
- Starting Point outside the city in the Collinswood (A small prelude would not be refused if successful and anyone is interested.)
- Probably some sort of wand tap to mark us all as outlaws from Arabel. I imagine we would also be KoS. (gDarDog might be the only one to avoid this if he plans on attempting to use disguises but this would be up to the discretion of the DM team if possible before determining further)
Background: The Sect of Blind Justice
As a peace treaty has been struck between Cormyr and Arabel, a beyond middle-aged lionar can stomach no more. The old grizzled war veteran is a paladin of Tyr. He remembers now more than ever the oath he swore to the Sect of Blind Justice... That which does not slow nor stay, that which barrels forward at the cost of itself. As he grimaced with a final sip of his ale, he begin to pen letters for his most trusted men...
As they gathered, they realized the gravity of their undertaking. There would be no glory. There would be no fame. There would only be what must- Justice. In order to levy their justice, they would work against all those who had stolen Arabel from her rightful owner, for that was what must be done. Even if it meant shirking the ruling of their superiors.
With heavy hearts and respect for their leader, the others made peace with their choices and accepted the mission.
A few sentences on how you plan to make the server more fun to play on for everyone, through your characters actions/story.
- Work to establish Collinswood as Purple Dragon Territory by outlawing people of Arabel from the lands.
- Actively plot against the city and her factions by utilizing some of the following strategies: These categories are in no specific order.
- Exploration
  - Gain whatever allies we can to our cause while being "cautious" of double agents.
  - Bring those allies to strange places in the module where our battlemages believe we may be able to find/harness relics of Purple Dragons or Cormyr.
  - Become experts of the smuggling tunnels for a covert operation in the future.
  - Slowly claim lands across the server, outlawing players from them and regularly patrolling them to create interesting conflict. Those unaffiliated with Arabel will be charged a modest toll.
- Covert
  - Utilize our Royal Scout or scrying abilities of our battlemages to find information to use against Arabel.
  - Build up Eveningstar with the hopes of swaying their people, particularly those in the HoM in order to get someone with inside intel to support the cause.
  - Utilize the smuggling tunnels to attempt to either liberate A) a relic of great importance from Arabel or B) An influential member of Arabel who deserves justice.
- Assault
  - Place/pursue bounties on well known player members of factions. * Offer them outs for information/co-operation.
    Create fires to burn the stolen lands - cleansing them and damaging trade routes in the process. This will be done strategically and possibly with the aid of people who know these lands in scouting ops beforehand.
  - Trials of Justice - As agents of justice, any perceived wrongdoing in the lands of true Cormyr shall not be left unpunished. This includes necromancers as much as it does Arabel loyalists. The justice meted shall be determined by the judge - with the most severe being death by burning. Sendings will be made to invite others to these spectacles in Collinswood with a temporary passage of safety.
  - Eventually siege one of the local hamlets around Arabel (Think slingdyke for example) but "accidentally" give knowledge to other players in order to allow them to prepare defenses if they so choose. (Thinking 2 days notice type thing.)
    Other
  - I imagine the others will be required to submit applications of less substance, but for this particular app I chose to include all kinds of goals that were discussed as a group, whether they be specifically for my character or a member of our group as a whole.
    I am also submitting this application early as to get some feedback on it but we are not looking to get started in game for a few weeks as of yet, mostly just looking to gauge interest.

[1:50 PM] Its Nick: Yo. The concept idea was a 3 man group of PDs using guerrilla warfare in arabel and surrounding lands.
[1:51 PM] Its Nick: tracker/scout, paladin of tyr (justice) and the leader of the group on his crusade to reclaim Arabel for Cormyr as it was an injustice that it was taken. Any in city factions would be major enemies right away except maybe eveningstar. We would conflict with everyone and work against peoples plans to sabotage shit etc

We would map out our route in the app of how we would operate and gdar would then use that knowledge to plan it all out as our scout ICly and be an Arabellian so hes got intimate knowledge of the lands. I would be the moral leader and overall head. Crazy zealous. And then ethika would be our counsel for all things magical and attempting to render missions covert etc with rituals/spells

The goals look fun but they can start small and build the group up like every other concept we've supported. Look at KnockKnock and the Thorns group and then the Lower House they recruited as a front.

I have no context about Ethika but it seems this isn't passing regardless.

No reason they can't just do it anyway without an app though, and I don't really like one member causing a veto on all of them.

To be clear, to me the "one member" is not the reason for my no. I don't believe this app is appropriate. OOC issues with a player always factor into what we approve or don't though.

Personally I'd be happy to run them a small prelude along these lines. But they wouldn't recieve any sort of official support from Cormyr, or gear.

They can go pro-cormyrian all they want but nothing official (like PDs) and no support unless they bring the awesome.
