Seems to be an old player (3+ year absence) returning. I know we have a lot of Justiciar movement lately, but I think this is a solid concept for the group.

Human / Cleric / Lawful Evil (Banite, hidden) / 5 / Aldren Vael Tarmon

Secret goal: Aldren is a Banite loyalist, looking to infiltrate and influence the Justiciars from the inside.
(DMs only — Aldren presents himself as a strict follower of Tyr’s justice, devoted to law and order.)

How I Plan to Make the Server More Fun:
My aim is to create roleplay that builds intrigue and conflict. Aldren will come across as a lawful cleric who slowly pushes the Justiciars toward harsher ideas of justice. This should create chances for:
      • Internal conflict between mercy vs. order inside the faction.
      • Other players to suspect, question, and investigate Aldren’s real motives.
      • DMs to drop in story hooks: coded notes, strange allies, or slips in Aldren’s words.
      • More interaction between Justiciars, Oathsworn, and Arabel’s enemies.
I’m not looking for personal power — I want story. Aldren’s arc is meant to eventually lead to exposure, downfall, or corruption, depending on how other players and DMs respond.

      Brief Background:
Aldren Vael Tarmon is seen as a soldier-turned-cleric looking for purpose after fighting in the Storm Horns. In truth, he grew up under Banite influence in the Iron Concord, where he was taught that survival is about strength, order, and crushing weakness.
The frozen age gave him an opening: the Justiciars’ ideals overlap with Banite doctrine. Aldren believes he can use them as a tool to bring Arabel under the true law of Bane. Outwardly, he seems like a rigid, serious man — disciplined, stern, and honorable. But when he speaks of “justice,” it usually means punishment, obedience, and submission. Aldren knows that his lord was slain he too saw the vision, however he doesn’t believe he is truly dead and follows the ideals.

      Other Notes:
I want to be clear this character isn’t for a power grab. The Banite angle is here to give DMs and players something to uncover and push against. I expect Aldren to face suspicion, opposition, and eventually exposure or corruption. The story is the reward.

This app reads as "I'm going to join the Justiciars and intentionally do such a poor job at upholding the law that my colleagues are going to want to question what the hell I'm even here for"

Kind-of wishing he gave his character a motive here.

I don't interpret it that way at all. It seems the character is going to push the idea of punishment over rehabilitation, which admittedly, is exactly what their current LE Helmite is doing. Though simple, his motive is bringing the Justiciar's under the fold of Banite teachings. Probably extrapolating, but I imagine it's as simple as survival: if the city can't maintain absolute order and obedience, it will fall.

@Erebus I can gel with that, basically Gregor. But Bane instead. Not sure he'd be happy with a cleric giving Tyr credit for his blessings, but he's caught in the silence anyways lol.

            I'll give it a yes.

              Bane is dead right?

Time of Troubles ends, Bane is dead, Xvim, his son has taken over.

In the future, there are two simple rules to remember:

              NO SPITTING.

              DO NOT CROSS MISTER MOLOCH.

                Bane is very dead, yes.

With 4, I'm marking this conf. If someone sees him IG, please hook him up with the new pin, have him request Discord access, and update the list of approved apps
