I know the amount of healing dropped in quests was overboard and people had like 50+ wands at one point but could we find a way to add some healing to the newbie quests? I haven't found but a couple light healing potions in all the quests I've done and one quest worth of gold is only 3 light healing potions. I'm kinda stuck waiting for a reset because I can't get healing. Maybe like a single guaranteed light healing wand on the newbie quests and maybe nix the PP points on it? Make it a life saver and newbie helper without the bloat?

I did not have this issue two weeks ago when I ran the gauntlet. Quick fix is to do the crypt quest outside the west gate, or the wyverns cave? (Blue robed lady outside north gate). I am 100% certain they both stop healing each time.

Character: Wouldnt you like to know?
Olouthitis: Character does awesome things for a few months, but inevitability hijacks an air ship and crashes it into an evil faction head quarters screaming battle cries.

I’ve found Dana’s House drops healing a fair bit, the Potion Bottle Shop also seems to have had a bit of a refresh and dropped a few for me earlier today

            That’s weird because I’ve run:

            Fairy house
            Rat shop
            Slime house
            Downtown
            Wolves
            Infested halfling village
All twice and not a single healing item but a single light healing potion

I ran pride of Arabel once and found a medium healing wand and was celebrating like I’d got personalized DM loot.

It could be bad luck. I've made a few newbies to test quests out. I find some of my PCs are overstocked with healing, some don't have much at all.

That said, I'd be really curious about the loot chests - I think balance is a bit off or the script is. I keep getting many multiples of the same item on quests (two suits of chain, or three of the same belt, or a lot of cure moderate wands).

In the future, there are two simple rules to remember:

              NO SPITTING.

              DO NOT CROSS MISTER MOLOCH.

I’ve been getting a lot of the same items. Like oodles of items, but no healing. Maybe it is just luck.

@Latoksinned Most likely the problem is that there aren't enough items in the chests. If you only put in say 10 items, the script pulls 1 to 4 as a reward; odds of duplicates are high.

I know I use to have to go through and revise quests quite a bit to just put more of the items we wanted to show up as rewards into the quests, and that let us make some items more rare to show up too.

Maybe should put a healing statue in the quest or little shrine that heals minor cuts and injuries in them?

                      i'll double-check what's available
i've been adding loot to all the lowbie quests so it may be throwing off how many wands get spawned

As someone who has retruned after a long time away, I have notices a massive lack of healing wands in the solo newbie quests. I get it used to spit out healing wands like water, but it feels like there was a kneejerk reaction to fix that that went overbaord.

But having played some of the group quests higher level we seem to have found a few.

Some of the off the beaten path newbie quest drop healing more reliably than the in town ones. Might just need to switch up the typical rotations when you create a new character.

healing wand count bumped slightly in 4-6 quests
