Alchemy - Medusa Repellent

Hi,
Gorgon's Bane and Medusa Repellent both need a gorgon scale to make, which I understand thematically but in order to get them you have to kill a gorgon, which would require being protected from petrification.
A gorgon only drops one scale so you would need to kill three times as many gorgons than party members at a time in order to be able to farm them.
My suggestion would be to remove the gorgon scale requirement for Medusa Repellent or make gorgons drop at least three scales when they die. Preference is for the first option.

@Echo Troll Blood? It has regenerative properties so would seem to fit thematically.
