Hey guys, the player has not come to me with this, I just happen to think it's a good fit for the PC.
They're doing an excellent job exploring the mysteries of the server, specifically the Dreamer plot in the Helmlands. I very much enjoy their play style and would like to help them along with their concept.
I'm unsure what perks traditionally come with this special position but I figured a simple wage and a piece of loot denoting their position would be fine.
Mossmere's reasoning would be to access Fye's research to the Helmlands which I suspect he would be very interested in. Furthermore I'd like to use the npc to gently suggest correct alternatives to slight narrative assumptions that quickly become fact.
If Mossmere is the wrong NPC for this let me know, I'm more than happy to create my own!

The plan is for Mossmere to suggest a very hands off approach. He would mostly want access to her file and would offer input here and there, which I think the player would go for, and works pretty well since they're already doing what mossmere would like.
Might not even need to give them the key and storage area in house mossmere.

I think a small wage, like 15/hour, and some NPC guidance is all that is needed here.

I like this. Not an official Mossmere apprentice or any status since the player usually wants a free hand. Bit of a reward for the fun stuff they've been doing
No from me for Mossmere Apprentice. That is a special position type that carries NPC expectations.

So wage/sponsorship in exchange for sharing her research and discoveries with Mossmere, makes since.
