Time: 6:45 PM PST Jan 3, 2022Issue Description: This has happened on numerous occasions now- for some odd reason, and I have no idea why, people become unable to take the rat quest. And it's not like a once in a blue moon, it's almost every day, so I think something is getting goofed.

I’ll have to confirm but a likely reason is that the rat chases out an adventurer who flees and gets killed by another NPC. I think there is another bug report about this as well.

What dialogue did the NPC give you? Did she think someone still had the quest? I noticed this recently - people taking the quest, doing the quest, but failing to talk to the NPC to end the quest.

@sharkinajar Someone probably did the quest but didnt turn it in.
There used to be a thing that would cancel out a quest if no one had turned it in within an amount of time and were not online any more.
Will have to dig through old modules to find it.
