This is a special position, no? Or is considered as such I thought. Personally I don’t think it has been earned quite yet but I did miss the tournament event yesterday. I just love the idea of a defining moment leading to one becoming a knight. Overcoming failures, resilient in moments other men would show desperation/weakness, or in the black chalice case something that tests one’s loyalty to Obyn.

For now I’ll vote no. The character still has a lot of life and story to play out as well :).

He's been actively promoting Obyn, but that seems to be a recent development. Let's see how he does with this Councilor position and if he gets something done that benefits Tilverton, I'd vote yes.

If Pierre survives this then we can move him to Rank 3 and let him call himself a Black Chalice Squire. (just a made up rank for them) If he earns Knighthood, Rank 4 then he gets Sir and is a Knight of the Black Chalice.

Verk is apologizing on his knees to Ethel. Pierre is going to watch it happen.

Sadly, unless something major happens this plus other acts ends the chance of Pierre becoming a Knight.

"So he realises he kinda fucked up with the council/Miel/Ethel thing and hurt the Dukes Image and Tilvertons reputation by getting kicked off, So he'll try and make amends and help with the gem and offer a service from himself personally to a councillor to try and repair bridges a bit
He's still working on the Chalice, Like thats a big project. He's going to host a tournament to celebrate its almost ready to forge, sort of have people compete in displays of strength and push proper fuedal rule under the Black Chalice leads to prosperity and the chalice is a symbol of that
And hiring a bard to promote it
He's going to lead hunts for orcs to push the Duke and faith of Black Chalice being against roving beasts, and push the Zuguk plot, obviously he knows this wont lure him out, But it is good for PR and promotes protecting the serfs of towns so they can work for their lords
Ohh one last thing for the plot ticket, He's been running treasure hunts to try and boost the Dukes image, like saying treasure is good but service to the Misrims could bring more"

I am fine with Verk being thrown a bone by the Duke for his efforts in creating the Chalice-

But he won't ever make Knight.

He spent a few minutes on his knees and arms begging forgiveness, Ethel ignored him after rolling 24 will. Everyone in the Faceless gave Pierre weird looks
