The current potions market is so expensive that you almost always net loss on every quest you go on, seeing as you get a measly 150 to 250 gp when barkskin alone costs more then you get doing to quests.

And seeing as we cannot sell items to the general store (or any store really) making any profit from such items null as well I am asking why the hell everything has to cost a small fortune.

The inability to get gold in a way to sell items to NPCs and the ultra expensiveness of potions is an active detriment to my fun why do we have it?

I'm more inclined to support suggestion 2 - though I'm just one voice on the Team. We'll discuss it and get back to you in this thread.

Potion prices are unlikely to change for the foreseeable future.
