Welcome to the cartography system!
To create a map of an area, you must use the cartography tools on a Point of Interest, which are represented by the green named placeable located throughout the area. The number of points varies per map. Once you have found all points, the map will be created in your inventory and the tools will disappear.
You have 3 charges per day of the tool to use in the mapping process. Each point you find will be added to the description of the cartographer's tool so you do not end up mapping the same point twice.
You will need a set of tools per map. You can start multiple maps at the same time, as they will be on their separate set of tools.
Get out there and start mapping!
