        Aquatic System Related Changes:

        Thanks to the amazing @TheMinionOfArabel we now have dedicated effect icons for Water Breathing, Trout Backstroke and drowning. The first two are already implemented and should give you indication when said spell are active and when they ran out:

        Merchant Stalls and Stores related Changes:

        • Adjusted all common summoning tomes to be sellable to stores and in Merchant Stalls.
        • Adjusted minimum price of all Merchant Stalls to 2gp - This is done to accommodate crafters wanting to create raw ingredients and selling them in their stalls for other crafters

            Versions 8449-8450:

            Rolled out New Systems:

            Trinity Flora Rollout:

            • Trinity is a homebrewed natural resources system that allows for a more randomized yet organize spread of resources through the game-world
            • The system is split into three sub-systems: Resource Nodes(Ore, Soil, Gems, etc), Flora and Fauna
            • We are slowly rolling out the second sub-system of the three: Flora
            • We are doing so gradually and over time, so you should see a change pretty soon
            • Each Flora will have its own unique look(And portrait!) as well as their produce(No more using the same leaf appearance for all plants)
            • For cutting down trees you will need to attack them to chop them down and must be using either Wood Cutter's Axe or Gardening Sickle to do so. While the sickle allows cutting of trees for more classes, bear in mind it's far less productive than the axe!
            • Flora unlike resource nodes are divided into two big groups: Wild Flora, which will spawn around the server on its own, and planted Flora which you can plant in planting zones. These planting zones will be visible in your minimaps.
            • Locations of planted Flora will be persistent and the same flora will appear there after a reset. This is not the case with Wild Flora.
            • A plant has multiple produce now. You will notice some of them also have flowers/fruits/nuts that have a unique use property. This means they serve as either seed pods(I.E Apple) or seeds themselves(I.E Almond). You can then plant them in dedicated planting zones when you find them. What planting zone matches, which Flora? That is for you to learn!
            • Most importantly: The Flora system employs a germination process. A plant will make its life from Seed all the way to mature. Some flora types will have a very short germination process(Mushrooms, Roots, and Flowers), while others much much longer(Trees).
            • A Flora placeable is no longer always there to give you produce and after a random amount of picking/harvesting the plant will die. If it's a Wild flora plant, after a short delay another Wild flora will start its germination process around the area. If it is a planted flora you will have to make sure to replant one from the seeds you have.
            • The new sub-system is also completely covered by our BI system so that we can monitor all numbers related to it

                      Asset Changes:

                      Hak updated to introduce more creature appearances(+Portraits) for builders.

                      New XP System Rolled out:

                      After a long period of testing we are now rolling out the new XP system to all players.

                      What does it entail?

                      • The new system is a single funnel through which all XP gain should go through. This gives the team control over XP distribution, monitoring and easy way to toggle it off for players(Aka XP gain toggle)
                      • The system is much more informative(And will continue improving) - Telling you when you havent learned anything from a skirmish(Aka was too easy for you)
                      • To prevent too-good to be true scenarios the system employs hard XP caps as well as the ability to cap XP on individual creature level(If needed)
                      • The new system also has mechanism in place to support exiled characters and allowing them to still flourish despite lack of questing opportunities
                      • As part of the roll out the double yield perk granted on quests in the range of 4-6 was changed:
                        • The perk is no longer based on the range of the quest but rather the level of the player(I.E until now if a level 4 went on a 4-7 quest they wouldnt get the double yield perk)
                        • The double yield perk slowly degrades as you level. You will get x2 the end XP at level 4, x1.5 of the XP at level 5 and finally no additional yield at level 6.

                      As any new feature - Please let us know if you see anything out of the ordinary and report any bugs and exploits.

                      The DM team retains the right to continue adjusting the system for balancing purposes in the future

                              Survival System - Campfires:

                              • Tinder and Oil Flask items were removed from all stores. Code yet remains so if you still have these items you can use them until they are used up, but then you wont be able to get new ones.

                              • The new survival system introduces 2 new ways to light campfires, which are both dependent on your Survival skill:

                                1. Twigs - You can grab twigs from trees(Oak, Hickory and Mahogany) and use one twig on another to generate a campfire. This is considered less expensive but also requires more survival skill
                                2. Flint Stone - You can buy those at stores and they give you easier access to firestarting. You will need to use them however on a burning material(Twigs, Branches, etc). Flint stone is more expensive but requires less survival skill to succeed with

                                          Trinity System Related Changed - Flora:

                                          • Added support for a new terrain type to be used by builders - Orchard
                                          • Made all Non-corrupted Mushrooms to act as seed pods and you can now extract spores from them for planting
                                          • Adjusted the weight of all spores and seeds to not exceed or be equal to their pod seeds
                                          • Adjusted some of the feedback messages to be more grammatically correct
                                          • Corrected an issue with some plant seeds not appearing as a stack when you open the seed pod, but rather as individual items that can be stacked later
                                          • Plants will regenerate their leaves/flowers/etc even if you pick the flowers but leave the leaves untouched - They will only regenerate their missing parts!
                                          • Added a new logic for detecting wild flora:
                                            • Utilizes a combination of Survival, Knowledge Nature and spot skills to make together flora detection. For every 5 combined ranks your range of spotting flora in the wild will increase by 1 meter
                                            • Night time will now make it harder to spot flora in the wild unless closer, and things like Darkvision/Low-Light vision/Ultravision will either reduce the penalty or negate it fully

                                            Ranger/Druid Related Changes:

                                            • Rangers and Druids should not longer see the ability to choose an Animal Companion in the creation/level-up screens, which was redundant and misleading for new players

                                            • Rangers should now get the Animal Companion feat at level 3 instead of 6. Additionally the feat will no longer be single use per day, but unlimited. These actions are prep work to move .compan dot commands to a dedicated UI

                                            Asset Changes:

                                            • Added 7 new creature portraits for builders to use
                                            • Added 30 new misc item appearances to be used by builders for various things such as: Trinity, new Bard song appearances, new Barbarian rage appearances

                                            Movement Skills System Changes(Swim/Jump/Balance/etc):

                                            System was adjusted to account better for items that have those movement skills bonuses assigned to them, and must be equipped. Please let us know if you see any issues or if things are too good to be true.

                                            Trinity System Related Changes:

                                            • Added missing Skullcap flower so players can extract seeds to plant it
                                            • Introduced additional key feature to resource nodes that will be revealed in future versions
                                            • Added support for individual flora detection penalty(For better concealed flora) to be used by builders
                                            • Began laying the groundwork for Rare/Bounty Flora to spawn using this system(Rare spore/Fungus, Rose Skull, etc)
