Clarify how to join a faction/delegate a dm responsible for managing factions

I joined a faction almost a week ago. I was added to the discord however that was the extent of it. I was not added to the forums or given a wage despite having received an IC recommendation from a current member. (Which seems like an odd requirement given you can access the faction loot/base/storage from just talking to an NPC.)
I tried to contact some DMs in regards to getting a wage and being added to the forums, however I either did not receive a response or was told that it was someone else' job. While I appreciate that DMs are busy, I think it would be helpful to clarify the rules behind joining a faction and also having a dedicated DM to set you up for each one. Or maybe they can give this power to storytellers as they tend to be online more often, I spoke to one and they said they are not authorized to set people up.
My character has been stuck in an odd state of fugue as a result, not having the capacity to plot/interact with the factions NPCs on the forums and also working for free without a wage.
I am not only speaking for myself here either, there are multiple people who have come back to the server in anticipation of these new factions only to be a partial member without any DM support.

I'm going to add to this to maybe let a senior member be able to add others to forums because I know of at least 5 players in this situation almost all in different factions, letting senior members take care of it would help alleviate frustrations. It will also help the DMs being bombarded daily by people needing access so they can actually understand their faction, so all in all this would help I feel.

We can certainly review that after there are some senior members and we get through the initial faction rush crunch.

This was caused by a tad of internal confusion when the team were rushing to get the new stuff released.

We will be offering players who were caught in faction set up limbo a one time 500gp stipend as some compensation for missed wages.
