    Yes,

Azure Flame (Who may be the soul of a powerful psychic dragon...) in Prison, wants to get home. Prison only openable by magic rune key. (prison ward threw Jacob 40 feet and damn near killed him from just touching it)

Avalanche has key and idea where prison is, orcs search with idea! Home likely means going through Goldfeather Ward. This requires breaking the ward. Thus, very bad outcome. So, Avalanche and Azure Flame teaming up = bad. Can disrupt connection if we find Azure temple.

This means: We need to work together. Gather allies and information. Find temple of Azure Flame.

The gryphons and hypogriffs are quite fan of dispelling. Avoid the weird green dogs at all cost. I do not know their name yet.

The ancient dire bears are pretty nasty as well. Bring a druid or ranger that can handle them.

    Azurespawn

In the wake of the attack and destruction of Slingdyke, Orc mages brought with them a giant human-shaped (elemental? or construct?) surrounded by blue flame. At times it breathed out a cone of fire, and at other times it breathed out a cone of ice.

It did not have a discernable weak point to leverage in attacking, and it was protected by either natural qualities or outside enchantments. Half of our attacks seemed to pass through the entity without hitting. When we did not merely swing right through the entity it was not terribly difficult to actually hit, and I observed all elements harming the entity save fire.

Suzie Nailo noted that it was not undead. Another adventurer noted that it reminded them of a more dangerous Cinderspawn. Thus, the working name of Azurespawn has been proposed. It is unclear how these are created, by whom, and if they have more. The remnants of its destruction still freeze the ground where it fell in the Moonsea ride just north of the Delzuld and former Braerwinter estates.

    OFFICIAL GUILD STANCE

I recognize that we're guild for adventurers, not an army. I will, by no means, require anyone to take part in this war. Any participation will be purely voluntary. I won't think any less of those who don't take part.

For those who do, we'll endeavor to give support and supplies where we can afford to. We are by no means a wealthy guild, but if you have need before a battle, speak up and we'll try to help. Protecting my brother is why I came to this kingdom. Protecting those I've come to call friends is why I remain and chose to start this guild.

Tymora smile as we stride boldly forth, and good luck to you all.

  • HAZARD REPORT: Haunted Halls Vampires

A reliable source witnessed one of the dwarves (Cronn, Molgar or Varric... confirming) speak with a Vampire in the Haunted Halls prior to the betrayal at Tilverton, having written a record of it in their journal the day it occurred. [Dwarf] "asked this vampire to fuse an azure gem into himself. He wanted it in him so that 'its energies come to him and are sustained by his life force in return.' His exact words."

"Then [Dwarf] asked what the vampire wanted from them to make it happen. She [the vampire] said she wanted to claim Deadwell for herself. As well as she wanted a shard for her own use."

Smith: "Did [the vampires] indicate how they would get into the deadwell?'

Source: Yes, they needed gravedirt transported to the Deadwell when the wards are temporarily down. The wards only lower briefly, when the House of Ash passes through. They [dwarves, vampires] were doubtful that the House would do it willingly, so it would need to be snuck in. They probably walked along side them without them knowing. The dirt would need to be snuck in and scattered among the various crypts.

Supplementary Notes: Supplemental potion/enchantment/scroll/imbued item, recommendations:

Ironguts. They're cheap, and not having to drink antidote in battle saves time, focus, and energy.
Clarity: Vampire casters of all kinds. be prepared for mental domination attempts
Freedom of movement/remove paralysis: Paralysis by vampires observed.

    Manual of Monsters and Foes:

Ghouls with poison breath: Infect you initially, when the poison sets you die. Priority one healing in combat. Focus these spitting ghouls down with all your might as soon as possible. Antidote or competent healer's medicine most likely counters once poisoned.

Darkness if frequent by these undead forces - know your way out in the need for an egress. Be prepared to be blinded. Be prepared for bandits turned cursed spawn of vampires to be attacking your vitals sneakily from this darkness.

    Logistics:

The Shadowfell is not an easy place to get to or get back from. This will need to be researched - if someone with an arcane disposition has an interest and ability to determine how one might get there and back again. Suggested review of the library for research. Sorcerous Mummy might have indicated that the spindle, while not in the Haunted Halls, would be elsewhere - but I suspect the door or portal to the Shadowfell might be located within the Haunted Halls and just be difficult to find / access. Scouting and investigating this at the moment is, naturally, quite dangerous and caution and extreme preparation are suggested.

Possible connection to realm experienced by some guild members prior: Boatman and his coin. Additional information via this report
(// can read but do not comment, 2nd posting by me is also fine to read): https://forums.cityofarabel.com/topic/67757/letter-selwyn-seal-signifying-kalen-smith-sender

Possible dangerous individual that fits the bill for those wanting to obtain undeath: The Bowyer - seeking the spectral coins.

Note: Helmlands mushrooms have been mentioned within Justiciar 'exploration and clarification of contraband' discussions. I'm fast tracking writing a report to try and provide evidence of beneficial forces at work in healing the Helmlands.

I'll add - the wards on the Deadwell (between Blisterfoot Inn and Bospir) have suffered from a lack of resources provided to the House of Ash. Consider donating to the House of Ash chest in its main lobby.
