Intro area highlghted banner has no info

Issue Description: Start area the banner with stag and swords is highlighted by sparkles but there is nothing interactable to give information. Not sure what was there before, but could do with one of the following:

1. remove sparkles and banner
2. check what was there and add back in if relevant
3. include any notes about special cases or places to direct folks
