Doesn't move me one way or the other. Another active player feels a positive to me, however.

They already have a fun new pc, shame really

If they're not planning anything special on this PC, they're probably not planning anything on a new one. I assume they just want to play their old mercenary because that's easier, so I say why not.

Handled. Took away 6 levels all their DM loot(Except consumables) and their Silver Longsword. They can earn that again.
