Hints to languages

The current language system is neat buuuut there's no reliable way to tell which language you're studying until you've successfully 100% learned it. It'd be handy if there was a descriptor to give you some kind of hint before you commit time + a language slot.
Maybe something liiike...
Abyssal: Every uttered word is an assault on your decency, sickening you through sound.
Infernal: Harsh yet methodical, no doubt you'd have more success with a forked tongue.
Celestial: A rich, harmonious tone envelopes your ear as you speak the phrase, threatening to overwhelm you in its glory.
Draconic: Sibilant and deep consonants characterize the script, bestial and hissing. -
Yeah adding some kind of hint as to what you are learning would be real nice. There's more than a few placeables out there that really don't give any indication as to their nature.
Alternatively, a way to pay gold to forget languages would be an interesting way to go about it I think.

reasonable to assume that once you had greater understanding you ought to id the language you are studying. have ot invest time to be able to recognise that it is different to the other you have found though
