I need the name of the recipe for what you were trying to make

Without details I cannot do anything about this.

Did you fail your roll to make the ingot? If so, it failed on both items and ate them. Always go with what the recipe asks for, no more. Otherwise, when you fail your roll, it will destroy all the items.

Never tested to see what happened if you succeeded the roll with multiple ingredients in though. You make several at the same time I'd guess?

If you put in mats for multiple items and succeed it crafts them all at once with the success, or fails them all at once with a failure.

The recipe calls for one ore.
If you put in two ores, the script thinks you want to make two ingots.
If you fail your roll, you lose both ingots.
Advise making one at a time.

                  Not a bug.
