Depends on the CL (duration). This is an illegal (unless you're a member of the Tower, and even then there are rules about the legality) and immoral summon theme that can cause your PC social suicide if they're found to be using it.
The RP consequences allow for it to be a stronger theme mechanically.

What's the caster level on the acid sheath?
I agree with the rp consequences thing but if this is CL 10 or so, it means that a level 10 tank could die in 1-2 rounds if he even touches your 2nd circle summon lol. If it's a lower caster level, I don't see as much of an issue.

I fought it as a level 5 Paladin. Don't know what the caster level is, but when I hit it, one of the hits was 32 damage unless I read it wrong.

Lowering caster level should be enough. Make it 1d6+4, as a Mestil Acid Sheft of level 2.
