Applying for: Tiefling subrace
Background: Dresik is a Thayan slave claimed by Magus Xamvul (Knockknock) as a bet in a high stakes poker game. More than just flesh and labour, Dresik proved valuable for his ability to translate infernal texts, a valuable skill in Thayan circles.Goals:
- Fixer for the Thayan group. Scout, spy, dogsbody in the kindest sense of the word.
- Internalist specialist. Deferred to in cases of infernalism, to translate and negotiate in the interests of Thay.
- Dresnik intentionally misinterpreted or concealed a translation that he is keeping to himself-
“When silver tears drift without falling, a sleeping fire will stir and whisper promise to the one who breaks its chain, its light will rise in service to a different hand.”
- Linking it with the Tears of Selune, he is privately seeking meaning in this prophecy in Arabel. No preconception with this, kept it vague enough it could mean anyone/thing you typically encounter in CoA.
- He will be a role player in this Thayan concept, with this infernal vibe and speciality, in addition to an open ended prophecy he’ll look to organically grow and give meaning to.
