Sap essence wand price

So We found to our dismay that sap essence is at innate level one is 70 gold a charge and 3 exp, the exp isn't a problem it's 70 gold a charge for a spell that does not damage and only collects components.

Considering that elemental essences are used either for greater variants that have big buff to Flame weapon and also for plot progressions I do not find it to be a bug but intended.
The team can discuss of course changing the price or even improving the spell but as it stands I believe it’s fine.

you need 20 elemental essences to make 1 variant of flame weapon so that's 70gpx20 1400gp for one flame weapon variant in cost of wand if you do not have the spell

Isn't the number of essences collected per Elemental random? I've had 1-3 of the appropriate essence after successful extraction.
