crafted items description

would it be possible to add to equip-able items for example 'made by PCNAME' in the description? some descriptions are out dated and it would save the dms the need to edit the descriptions of every single item, since they will be automatically changed when created
no fancy text besides the player name as a nice personal touch, i dont see the need for it for potions though

I've asked Zool about this and he said it can be done. He didnt tell me HOW to do it though :D
