i'd give my advice, but playing cleric all the time sort f make my opinion bias...
I personnaly would just let priest keep heavy armor, as the price to wear heavy armor come with strengh and your build, not all priest will be able to wear heavy armor as their strenght arent their first stats choice... on a general speaking term...
only freak like me will LOL.. anyway.. that my 2 cents on this -
We're not discussing giving clerics the heavy armor feat for free. This is not going to happen. If you want to wear heavy armor, take the feat.
We're discussing options for medium armor with flavor. Flavor is good. Flavor makes life not boring.
