control summon

Party had 3 spellcasters and three summons. Circle 3, 3, and 4. I used control summon on my 3rd circle, and ended up controlling somebody elses 3rd circle.

Has anyone been able to duplicate this?

I've had it happen on my casters when I'm in a party with someone else's summon. The tool seems to grab the first summoned creature within the party, maybe.
