Having an NPC give him the time of day and also a bit of a course correction on his obsessions would be a nice touch. Aka, this isn't the church of "boohoo this person doesn't listen to me", it's the "go out and show people what can happen when you take real bold steps" church of the patron goddess of the city --- a big responsibility as has been called out.
Also that he's consistent about doing things, even if they are pretty formulaic and overly direct to plot. I agree there should be something related to this. Perhaps an item and a mission from the church that works him towards clergy?
Make it converts to Tymora if you want to stretch it out. Or get three mcguffins if you want him to try to get it all in one afternoon.

Its been awhile. I think its time to make this official:
List of deeds accomplished/working on. I'll admit, his style can get exhausting but he pushes and works hard like no other player I know of. He leads, involves and takes his share of wins and losses (albeit with some attitude but no one is perfect).
I would also ask to officially be inducted into the priesthood .

Launched the path of heroes to find heroes to join a holy march when we ressurect saint Daramos
Led efforts to prevent the 14th legion recovering the black dooms remains
Demanded the Church be given control of the historic district

Put a 20k bounty on maiming verk today. Going to reward him with the title of OC and throw him a piece of loot before he gets killed, I would say it comes with the official backing of the church but no diplomatic immunity

Folklore and I gave him the promotion, upgraded his cloak and gave him key/token so he can access the rooms in the Tymoran shrine.
