      Human/fighter-cleric of Sune/NG/9/Mikal Ekebald
      Precept Bloodhound
Mikal’s basic concept is a secret priest of Sune who seeks to investigate the true nature of the Precept from the inside by pretending to be a swordman and joining as a Bloodhound.
Day to day he will be acting as exemplar Bloodhound, focusing on removing classic evil magical threat for preference and encouraging other Precept members to follow his example. He will also support and encourage the creation of wards and other defensive magics for the good of Arabel. By doing this he will improve his own standing and influence within the Precept, and thus gain better access to secrets and control.
Long game will depend very much on what he learns from inside the Precept and how the Precept PCs act. Blowing the place sky high for the greater good is a possible outcome, as is assassinating a corrupt npc, …but so is trying to discreetly spread the Sunite faith and changing the Precept to be more priest friendly and goodly.
His angle on Sune’s dogma is mostly focused around inner beauty/ ugliness (and a strong dislike of ugly corruption) and the importance of loving others. While he is perfectly fine with romantic love, he actually tends to be more interested in promoting general affection and empathy over romance, seeing it as the true path to goodness.

      Background

Mikal is the only child of feyish sorcereress from around the Silverymoon area. Due to his mother’s magic (and general chaotic personality), he often had to deal with more than his fair share of mob mentality. Seeing the ugly side of human nature early on made him quite adamant to fight it, eventually leading him to become a traveling priest of Sune.

      Notes

      • Has skill focus and cross ranks in bluff
      • Has recently told his secret clerichood to the Delverence and plans to share his findings and thoughts on the Precept with them

Is this an old PC? Since they're lvl 9, also a cleric in the Precept would really not.. fly well tbh

Not "old" (a few weeks maybe). Just quick to get to 9. Really though they should've apped on creation for this so we at least knew what the plan was and such.

Seems like a weak motivation for infiltrating the Precept.

Basically they want to try and see if the Precept are up to anything evil, and destroy them if they are? Without a real personal motivations that seems like a weird angle.

Trying to convert an organisation based entirely on arcane magic to rely more on the divine very unlikely to ever happen.

There should be some sort of comment from the NPCs maybe? IDK. Has anyone seen this PC cast magic? Did they ask where it comes from? Can they tell divine vs arcane?

It would be pretty simple for someone like Belinda to say lol no after taking the measure of the PC.

                I had visions, I was in them;
I was looking into the mirror,
to see a little bit clearer,
the rottenness and evil in me.

Ok then we need an IC post from Belinda or any other NPC saying no, and that while they havent figured out exactly what it is about the person that has triggered their spidey senses, that Mikul wont be a good addition to the family.
