The Rise of Mossmere

House Mossmere was always regarded as an enigma.
Situated in Tilverton, and indeed, the city is their ancestral land- they were violently removed by the White Witch on account of their stiff resistance, then later denied their birthright by Obyn Misrim who claimed the lands by right of conquest- a position backed by the now King Matrim Goldfeather.
The House of Mossmere was now a homeless, landless group of nobles- and this would normally spell the knell of any other noble family-
Yet They were wizards.
The power to shape reality at their fingertips.
And they would not be denied.
They labored, for long years, creating artifice, generating wealth, making deals as their Lord worked on a secret project, his long white beard and tired pink eyes cause for concern among his family.
Now, the House is once again secure in its wealth, and, thanks to the talent it has slowly recruited, begins to spread its wings.
House Mossmere looks upon the Kingdom and finds it wanting.
House Mossmere looks upon the King who denied them their birthright, and finds him wanting.
House Mossmere whispers. Gathers, and now that their Lord is free from his projects, looks to regain what was lost.
