File: The Precept Arcanum

From what has been discovered it seems the Lady was a Netherese ruler of Tethgard whose civilisation tapped into Limbo and the being who became the Lady willingly sacrificed herself to seal the tear.
The ruins also likely predate Karsus Folly as a voice can be heard singing a song
Oh sing for me Xanthous, Oh sing for me man of gold, Oh sing for me Xanthous, Oh sing for me behind your gilded bars, Oh sing for me Xanthous, Sing for me lover of Karsus, Sing for me man of a thousand faces
Inside the ruins is a cave painting of a Slaad enveloping the world, Likely what others believe would happen if the seal hadn't been formed or was broken.
Another painting shows people on a bridge of stars, The people seemed to be dancing, Likely some great achievement they achieved.
In the main chamber were statues of women with their wrists slit and what seemed to be magical energy leaking from it and murals on ruins
One shows a floating city above the forests and the Blacksand family crest,
The other was conjuration runes in Netherese but faded as if someone was trying to hide their purpose
Finally was a statue of the lady with chains straining at conjuration runes, Likely the runes of the seal
There is also a portal that goes to the Ladys court where a servant of hers seeks people to pledge to her and offer blood and essence to her to strengthen the seal and says a boon will be bestowed upon those that do
I expect the King did such whilst he was still wanted by Gondegal and before he was King
DominicOne concern that I have, beyond pledging blood and soul to an entity we hardly understand, is the fact that Izereth, whom held keys to Tethgard, might have somehow managed to befoul or taint this Lady, especially if the seal has been weakening. You could have played into her hand by doing this "good deed" so to speak.

Have you become so desperate for attention, that you fling your feeces like a monkey in a cage, praying to your dark gods, that something will stick? The Lady is the Patron of our King. Have you had time to look up his name yet, foreigner? Because you did not know it last we spoke.
To question my actions in Tethgard, is to question the actions of our King. Is that what you are doing? Are you trying to cause discord amongst those loyal to House Goldfeather? To undermine his rule with your deceptive tongue? Are you some Tilverton Raven, seeking to deliberately bring down the Crownguard from within?
Or is it the cabal you serve? Are you spying for them? because you are certainly quick to gain their reports.
Where does your loyalty lie, Foreigner who does not know the name of the King and Queen he is meant to serve?Remember your place, Wilhem of Waterdeep. You are tolerated in this uniform, as long as are are a good errand boy, do as you are told, and understand your place. If you cannot remember, it is just above the cleaner who dusts off the statues. Silence yourself, I tire of your paper sorcery! I will fetch you when I need a scribe, or a poorly constructed poem. Until then, by all means continue to cause more chaos, tarnish the uniform you serve, and destroy what relations the Crownguard has
beyond your true brothers and sisters of the Cabal. Filthy plebbuilt.*Dictated but not read

I merely state facts.
I merely raise questions.
I also have friends. What do you have?
An empty home?

[The response forthcoming seems to not be in direct response to Sabriel. Instead, it seems more of an open note directed towards others that might be reading.]
I wish everyone to know that I do not question the King or Queen. No, if anything, I question a haphazard journey into Tethgard and a women desperate for glory and coin that she would heed the words of a deranged cultist and throw herself into something beyond her understanding.
I hope that her actions do not harm or taint the Lady, or the King or Queen in any capacity.
One last documentation linked to this.
Your Grace
I am Roshesi Sereisia I commonly go under the name "Unicorn" in the wild walkers circles. I don't expect you to know of me. However I am desperately in need of your aid, some days ago I gave blood to the lady of the grove to help seal the slaadi. Now I need to speak with her if that can be arranged.
Izereth has for lack of better word cursed me, I look quite horrid now as if you asked a child to draw a three horned unicorn, then told them to draw that in the vague shape of a woman. I have others helping me through arcane research but I feel that isn't going to help.
I fear I may have been merged with a unicorn in Izereths cruel fashion and only they can help me. I wish to ask the Lady if she knows any locations where unicorns might be.
I beg of you to help me, please.
Roshesi Sereisia "Unicorn" humble follower of LurueThis crazed, brain worm infested Druid by the name of "Unicorn" was one of three that pledged blood and soul to the Lady.
Do I need to further explain the issue with this?

Scribbled on the back of the last document, is a small poem.Billy from waterdeep flickered his poo,
Dreaming of making his blood blue,
Deception and lie were his favored tool
His lack of decorum, making him a foolForged in shadows his schemes with the Red
Hating the nobles, who ensured he was fed
Backstabbing friends, taking their blood
Ignoring the chaos, his actions had boughtLearn some manners, you silly beggars boy,
Wear teal with pride, forget your silly ploy
You are the servant, remember your place
Or Wrath from the Blue, you will soon face -
When I was brought onboard, Courtier Raele Darendaal was clear in her objectives regarding the Precept Arcanum. Find ways to diminize their influence. Look to House Mossmere, gain their favor.
Lord Immerdusk made it clear that if at all possible, we should find ways to renegotiate the charter of the Precept Arcanum. They have failed, many times over. Yet despite all of this, several Crownguards seek to help them strengthen their position, even at the cost of the influence of the Crownguard. This baffles me, and seems contradictive to our agenda.
Has something changed? yes, but not for the better.
During my investigation of Billy's actions, I learned something vital. I have spoken with Polly of the Arcanum, and she comfirmed it; The Precept Arcanum are fighting tooth and nail to increase their influence. And their current way of doing so, is trying to broaden the scope of their "Stray" definition, to include -all- who might pose a threat to the Kingdom.
So instead of biting the hand that feeds you, perhaps it is time you actually understood our agenda, rather than hinder it actively.

We must be wary of angering them too much through. Let me do some work with them in regards to dealing with the Elven Fellowship matter.

The Lady of Tethgard is a pagan spirit, and while I am hesitate to criticize my liege about his relationship with the undead (and let us not lie about this, she is a spirit of a queen who refuses to pass on, thereby quite clearly a form of spectre or undead) it -is- troublesome, to say the least.
While not all undead, as any educated noble will point out, fall into the abyss of evil and resentment, almost all do. The Lady, we can assume, is not some creature who hates all living as clearly their majesty sees fit to extend a modicum of trust to her and invite her presence in our temples...
Frustrating to say the least, but we can rest assured that she is no aberrant eye, and but I am reluctant to decry Wilhelm is incorrect in being suspicious. I do not fully understand this relationship, and I am loathe to say people should embrace it, either, it is the duty of the Nobility to question their Royal Highnesses if they think they are being led astray, and this is one such case in my mind.
Still, who am I to say that the relationship is wrong? The Mossmere seem content with King Matrim's relationship, and Queen Kestrel probably is privvy to far more than I....

Miss Florent.
I must request you share this will from Izereth and the letter with the rest of the Crown Guard at the least.
It may contain something of use for ongoing investigations especially as she used an Abyssal item stolen from the Anglemorns to damage the Goldfeather Ward

I understand that Miss Florent has destroyed Izereths will and journal and letters which may have contained evidence on ongoing investigations
Elrinde of the Precept shared a copy of a letter she sent confessing to such
Precept Arcanum,
I place in your hands the first account of the story of Izereth. Your own secrets, where they came to my knowledge, have been redacted, or left out.
Further questions or inquiries can be brought to me in person, I shall be happy to answer. But her journal and letters have been burned, to ensure that the secrets never reach anyone else, less they be inspired by her specific route, in their own pursuit of power.
Sabriel Florent
I presume she did such to attempt to spite the Precept yet in doing so may have harmed our own work
