Belladonna Famine

Seemingly overnight, the curse-breaking Belladonna plants have suffered some manner of root based disease and are mostly withered away. While it retains some of it's properties if Lycan deterrent, local herbalists are nervous that the local strain will not be able to halt progression of the Lycabthropic curse like it once did. Exported Belladonna becomes a high commodity, and is expensive bordering on excessive. Already, as a full moon comes and goes, a great many livestock are lost, leaving behind only large swaths of blood and sinew. It is widely believed that Lycanthropy is beginning to spread at a previously unheard of rate.
