Disappearances in Hillmarch

A handful of people have gone missing from Hillmarch, leaving little behind to make out what became of them. It's as if they simply vanished into the night.
Incidentally, strange noises are heard in the woods late at night, and a few more residents have turned up dead in the streets, mauled by some unknown creatures.
Furthermore, residents complain of an increase in the rat population in the surrounding area. It would seem that Arabel does not suffer alone...
