The laughing mist of Arabel

Rumors spread rapidly from Eveningstar, that a few nights passed, a fog or strange mist, creeped from the swamps, just south of the High Road. The mist, or was a fog... or smoke, rolled through the streets of Arabel. Those caught outside, laughed manically, before they started bleeding and died. Rumors state, perhaps because they originated in Eveningstar, that The Knights of Aster fought strange swamp monsters in the streets, and did their best to control the chaotic streets of Arabel. When asked why the swamp, the rumors are somewhat inconsistant, but strange lightning appeared over the swamp at first, before the fog... Or mist.. or smoke spread through the streets.
