The White Horde and White Witch
-
I have weird information about the Witch.
'She bears the robes and rings of a war wizard, paled by thousands of years in the sun.'
-Sir Matrim Kingsley
This pre-dates the War Wizards.
Unless the current War Wizards are based on an older order by the same name.
Also, there might be 'hidden objects' among the trees in Tilverton, we need to scout there, either in force or by stealth, and find what he was talking about.

Isn't a domain of Amaunator, "Time?"
I'm just making more questions for us to ask ourselves.. but maybe she's in some way from the past?
We need to think on this development. Kingsley reported weeks ago that the Witch was a war wizard. Maybe she is, and discovered some old form of divine magic?
-Dawnknight Nicholas Alwin Appleberry

No! The clothes are older than her by a wide margin. She might be a 'War Wizard' who found some old relics, but I don't believe she's of the same time as the clothes.
-Fang Kirin Ashewood

I have never seen the woman.
However, I do read a lot of books! The first so-called War Wizard was Baerauble Etharr, in 26DR, but the War Wizards as we came to know them were not established until 70DR, developing from the Cormyrean Council of Mages.
That history lesson leads to this: if her items are bleached by a thousand years in the sun, she may have been among the first War Wizards. If it's more than one thousand years, then there is something else at play. It may very well be that Kingsley was not clear in his statement.
OscoPS. It may be worth noting that Baerauble was almost 600 years old when he died so time is not very important to mages like that.

A Fang believes she is not very old. So it is that she has gotten her hands on some very old things.
Where? Perhaps the sands? It is where a Horde first appeared after all.- Children of the Redwoods

The White Horde is suffering from the onslaught by the Ghosts, and this is a perfect chance for us to strike.
Let us head East and scout for the infernal worgs breeding ground, getting rid of it once and for all.
We would band together as once, in the name of Arabel, a truly joyous occasion of heroism and good.Luckbringer Ottilie

Our information of the White Witch is a little lacking in the files, I suggest we all summarize what we know and then looking over the information collectively. Theories welcome!

@Mox-Beryl said in Report to the Council:
Members of the Council,
Thought I should let you all know that I investigated some strange sounds coming from the north and stumbled across something unsettling.
Up in the Helmlands, just to the west of Slingdyke and through a recently created path in the woods, there was what can only be described as a battlefield. Goblins and kobolds had been killing each other. Whether one group or the other were rebelling against the White Witch, I couldn't say for certain.
I investigated alongside the Paladin of Mystra Aerl and two others whose names I didn't catch. At the end of it all was some kind of incomplete ritual circle. None of us were able to determine its purpose, but it seemed as if whoever created it didn't really know what they were doing. There were burn marks everywhere. Disturbingly, there were also cages with children's toys inside. We didn't see any children while we were there but we did find some tracks that looked like they were left by small humans. The tracks eventually simply ended as if whoever had left them had vanished.
I recommend investigating the scene for yourselves. I don't know any more than that.

New information in regards of the White Horde and White Witch, I believe this means things are beginning to move in our favor.

There is a Shrine of Amaunator within Tilverton.
This is strange, no?
What information do we have on this shrine?
If none, I will dispatch a scout, Danny Steele, to investigate.
-Sir Nicholas, Dawnknight of Eveningstar
-
I had completely missed this, as far as I can see there is no readily available information on it in our files or the library.

This Shrine may be in some relation to the White Witch. We will investigate immediately.

I have never been to Tilverton, and I know nothing about this deity except there are some similarities with Lathander. Thus, I have no input or insight to offer on this new development.

During the gala, Senior Retainer Rismente was able to pin point the White Witch's location to a tower within the Stonelands. Scouts have been dispatched to map the areas, and we prepare to deal with Tilverton before we march against the White Witch.
