Mercenaries...
Like vultures they march into Arabel by the dozens. Many diverse companies some local, some far-traveled from foreign lands. All with the singular goal of carving their little piece out of the conflict between Arabel and the White Horde.
Rumour speaks of four groups in particular. A gathering of workmen, ne'er-do-wells and impoverished farmers gathered under the banner of the former Rabble Rousers. Gerhalt's Freecompany, a company of sellswords hailed from the Dalelands said to have suffered many ill-fated losses in recent years. The Gilded Legion a well-known army-for-hire in both Sembia and Calimshan reputed for never having lost a battle. And lastly The Unbroken a company of Bane worshippers who have stubbornly refused to let go of their faith and convictions, travelling from country to country seeking to re establish themselves.
